What is artwork?
So you have found the items you want, and placed your order and now you have an email asking you to send us your artwork. But what is that? Your artwork file is the design you want printed onto your item, usually your logo and web address but as most of our products are full colour print you can print pretty much whatever you like!
I have a designer to do my artwork, how do they supply the files?
Most pages have artwork dimensions and colour specifications, ie full colour, single colour etc. If they don't it means you are free to send what you like! Don't worry if it means nothing to you, just pass the info on to your designer, they will know what you mean. We will need your artwork files supplied as 300dpi, cmyk jpegs, tiffs, or pdf. For vector logos and text we can also accept outlined, flattened eps an ai files. 3mm bleed is required where appropriate.
In some cases we have an artwork template available to work to for the imprint, if this is the case there will be a link on the products page for your designer to download.
For single colour imprints, artwork should be supplied as 100% black, with no tones or gradients in the formats above. You will be able to specify your print colour in the notes on the product page.
One we have your files we will send you a proof to check the artwork we have received is correct and to show you the print position. You will be able to make any amends at this stage. It is your responsibility to check your proof. Once the proof is signed off Little Pony Promotions will not be responsible for errors not noticed at this stage.
I don't have a designer, can you do my design?
Yes! If you don't have a designer to do your artwork and you don't just want a logo on your product then simply tick the box on the product page saying "I need artwork". In most cases it only costs £25 for us to produce your design. T-shirts and clothing may cost a little more depending on your requirements. The artwork cost will be added to your basket to checkout in the normal way. It is a one off cost, so if you re-order or order several itmes with the same artwork, you will only need to pay once and we will keep it on file for future orders.
I'm ordering print, any special requests?
If you are ordering printed stationery, flyers or posters then we will need the artwork supplied to the correct size with 3mm bleed all round. Files should be 300dpi, CMYK format and saved as high quality pdf, outlined eps or ai file or high resolution jpeg or tiff. We cannot accept word, powerpoint or excel documents. We will send you a proof for approval prior to print. If you are sending artwork for booklets make sure the pages are single pages and in the correct order.
